Join us for daily farm stories for preschool and young primary children (3-6 years). We’ll be sharing Picture Books, including the Finalists in the upcoming NZ Post Children’s Book Awards.
All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Read Allowed
Come along and hear daily readings of ‘Charlotte’s Web’ as we read through this classic novel over eight sessions. For anyone who misses an instalment, the audio book of Charlotte’s Web is also available on the Children’s Computers.
At Davis Central City Library, Queens Park in the Children’s Section.
All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
For 8+ year old children only.

| Young Farmer Challenge
We’re looking for the Library’s most talented young farmers! Come along dressed as your favourite farm animal or farmer to join our Costume Parade. Or bring along your soft-toy farm animal for the Pet Show! There’ll be games and competitions, face painting and prizes.
At Davis Central City Library, Queens Park. On the grassy field behind the courtyard. Event will be cancelled if the weather is wet. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
For 5+ year old children.

Take a break from the tv....take home a library holiday pack! Don’t forget our holiday competitions, things to make and do, quizzes, books to read and games to beat the boredom these holidays!
